Small Bomb Table by Motoart

by Justin Thomas, Virginia on 11.12.05
Design & Architecture (tables)

MATABLBOM_82bb.jpgA modern example of turning swords into plowshares? These tables by Motoart are made with recycled Mk-81 bombs. The bombs were last used in the Vietnam War. The table comes with a tempered glass top, and it costs $799. Also available are other tables made with bombs and aviation parts. :: Small Bomb Table via Product Dose

A great idea in theory to recycle bombs but in terms of feng shui -
a disaster. The times are nervous enough without seeing
a bomb in your house. How would you ever get used to this? In a way, it's also frivolous. People in Iraq and Afghanistan are still getting REAL bombs in their houses. I'd rather see the bomb shaped casings melted down and made into useful utensils with no indication of their past purpose. These weapons should have NEVER existed.
