Treasure America's Arctic Wildlife Refuge Video
by Michael Graham Richard, Ottawa, Canada

Our precious collaborator Nick Aster, creator of the excellent Triple Pundit, went to Alaska last summer with the Treasure America team to find economic arguments against opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to the oil industry. Their reasoning and conclusions are made clear in a great and very professional video (see it on Treehugger's server, or on Google Video) and on Treasure America's website. Please watch the video and take action against the defilement of some of Earth's last pristine ecosystems. ::Video!, ::Treasure America

For a first hand look at what’s at stake if drilling goes ahead in ANWAR, check out the film and book Being Caribou. It chronicles a 5-month, 1500 km trek on foot by husband and wife filmmakers as they follow the 123,000 member Porcupine Caribou herd from their wintering to calving grounds, and back again, in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
