pacific_close_up_2_1_1-176x249.jpe You've found your fantasy modern abode and now need to fill it. The Recyclobile, made partially from old lamp shades and salvaged lamp hardware, becomes the focus of any room with its retro-savvy use of color and light.

Designed by Ames Munden of San Francisco, each piece is handmade by Munden and Lisa Tyrrell in their Mission District studio. The result hangs at a commanding 13 inches diameter by 4 feet long. Four possible color combinations include Alma (oranges), Sun (yellows), Shell (neutrals), and Pacific (shown, greens and blues).
