CoolHemp "Frozen Dessert"
by Lloyd Alter, Toronto on 10. 6.05

Woody Harrelson called it "the best ice cream I've ever tasted!" except it's not ice cream, it is a hemp-based frozen dessert that hits every treehugger button ever pressed: "Our Cool Hemp frozen dessert ingredients are certified organic, certified kosher, locally grown, and certified Fairly Traded (no child slave labour in the production of cocoa and sugar, and guaranteed fair prices for farmers)...Our home office on Morninglory community farm is solar-powered, with wood and solar heat, and we use only recycled or tree free hemp paper." Not to mention, " Hempseeds are one of earth's most nutritious foods and are nature's source of perfectly balanced Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)." As soon as we find our Birkenstocks we are off to the Big Carrot for a cone, and offer our condolences to Americans who would be arrested for eating this. ::Cool Hemp

Ah but if it's not blessed by a holy representative of Flying Spaghetti Monster (blessed be his noodly appendage!), my religion forbids me to eat this product.
dunno if you're just being silly, but fyi, the hemp foods ban (the RIDICULOUS hemp foods ban) was repealed some time ago. it didn't last long.
fucking dea
sex? post above has f word in it!! Ohhhhhhhhh
Americans who would NOT be arrested for eating this! Stop it!!! Stop perpetuating your own negative stereotypes about hemp! Yes, the DEA & ATF had looming anti-hemp food laws, but all that got slammed down by the Supreme Court, who probably didn't want to ban poppy seed bagels for an encore. So now people are free not only to eat hemp food, but to invest into hemp food companies. The next logical step is a hemp protein powder isolate.
LA: sorry to all, I misunderstood the rules and thought hemp was not legal in the states, after reading about Canadian companies who tried to export to the states. Perhaps there is a tarriff wall to protect American hemp growers, sort of like softwood lumber, or perhaps I just did not know what I was talking about.
