When we were reviewing a few of the more sustainable sofas out there, some our resourceful readers pointed out that natural sofa slipcovers can be put to good use. By placing these cotton covers on a sofa, and you can protect your furniture or give older pieces a contemporary makeover. The cover seen here is available for $79.99. Unfortunately, we could not find a cover made with organic cotton. :: Gaiam.
shame on gaiam, they can do better (hate that 'natural' loophole). bet you can get the same results with a little DIY and one of these organic cotton throws from the allergy buyers club for $60 or this scrumptious one from the awesome Rawganique ($60-175)
