Kitchen in the Round from Snaidero

We had to struggle for a moment to find a treehugger twist for this- "the concentric kitchen, designed to be in the center of the room, to meet the needs of the man who wants to have everything around him, who feels the need for a really modern approach. Ergonomics, dilated forms, a new way of thinking of socializing, living life full circle." We can't figure out what makes it particularly masculine other than one is certainly in Captain Kirk Command mode when standing in it, with its computer monitors and other gadgets. Oh, and the treehugger thing? it's made from 100% recycled aluminum. ::Snaidero via ::Trendir

Looks like the George Jetson drum kit.
Eep, Opp, Ork, Ah-Ah...
That means I love you!
I've seen this in person at their showroom in Chicago. Very cool design, but it costs as much as a car - Speaking of which - this was designed by Pininfarina, the guys who've been designing Ferraris and Alphas for decades.
I have seen this before at gizmag.com,
but i liked this idea better...I guess I don't need to be at the center of attention:

Cute, but where is the storage space?
This is a new idea?
