Dustpan and Brush by Ole Jensen

l_56283.jpgHere's some attention to designing one of more humble things around, the dustpan. While cleaning his studio with a folded newspaper in one hand, broom in the other, Ole Jensen was inspired to create this simple hand-held "dust blade". It's made of a flat sheet of recyclable polypropylene. The thinness allows even fine dust to be easily collected. The brush is handmade in Poland using natural beechwood. You slip the brush handle through the grommet to hang the set after you sweep up. It sells for $30. Of course you could just stick with the folded newspaper and broom. :: Unica Home
