We get a lot of questions about how to find a green job. Here's one! Friend of TreeHugger, Voltaic Systems, inventors of the Solar Backpack, are looking for an Operations Manager. This position would touch most day to day activities including: PR and marketing; web site maintenance; fulfillment and customer support..

..reseller support, financial administration; production management, and product research and development.

Looking for someone who is:

a) experienced in this type of work
b) interested in environmentalism, sustainable products
c) extremely organized, self motivated
d) capable and excited about juggling multiple projects
e) very comfortable on computers

This would be part time initially, with the prospect of becoming full time. Ideally this person would be based in New York, but if not, they could work virtually from anywhere in the world.

The ability to speak mandarin or design skills would be definite assets.

well ok that would be a dreamjob it's true... but for us canadian treehuggers it may be a bit hard to get a green card.... So; for Cdn Th'ers looking for a green job, u can always sign up for Good Works Canada there are literally hundreds of green jobs there... i swear hundreds!
