Lovetann, a Norwegian company, offers these modular homes, with a heavy emphasis on modular. Anyone who has built something Lego bricks will get the idea. Their entire home building system is based on a single "module" of aluminum framework that can be rearranged and stacked according to the desires of the homeowner. As far as green building elements, the company says that green roofs and solar electrical systems are available and can be incorporated into the design. They also point out that their houses have a low-impact foundation. You can check out some configuration examples on their web site. :: Lovetann via Inhabitat
