Does wine taste better in a recycled glass ?

The Metro Wine Glasses, designed and distributed by the "By Nature" London e-shop, enjoy a blending design using 100% recycled glass. If you were wondering where your bottles and various broken pieces go after you've dropped them in the specialized container, here is an example of the final product that comes from a full sustainable process. As illustrated by the various models available for order online, there are no technical restrictions on shapes and volumes created from recycled glass. Great news indeed.

there is a school of thought that Riedel glasses at $150 per pop make wine taste better. Click on the URL to see Hugh Johnson's take on that bit of fancy marketing. we need to organize a Treehugger taste-off- does wine taste better in a recycled glass or in a Riedel?
I read that differently shaped wine glasses were designed to splash the wine against different areas on the tongue, based on the scientific fact that the tongue tastes different things in different areas. Turns out that "scientific fact" wasn't at all factual, so does that mean wine would be every bit as good out of a highball? Certainly not as stylish.
And I have to say, By Nature's website is easily the worst shopping site I've had this displeasure of trying to navigate in months. It's poorly organized, and technically structured in such a manner that you can't directly link to ANYTHING. So I can't post an entry in my online journal about the Pure Milk set, which is just AWESOME. And they don't offer many details on it anyhow. The pics are too small. And the ordering options don't match what the description says is included. Wow.
Errr. The site seemed OK to me maybe they just designed it with me, a normal person, in mind?
anyway I'd been looking for some stylish recycled wine glasses for a while and now I;ve ordered these so i look forward to a few glasses of sainsbury organic sicilian in them.
I was a bit off yesterday, apparently. Off my block. Anyhow, I'd emailed By Nature expressing my frustrations, and received an excellent reply from the director himself. Bravo. They corrected my one valid complaint, and he addressed the rest of my concerns quite nicely.
I'm still frustrated that I can't direct-link to any of the products, but I have to say .. the service is excellent. Forgive my earlier outburst.
