green-clean.gif “Most homes are clean, but few of them are green,” says Linda Mason Hunter and Mikki Halpin, authors of Green Clean: The Environmentally Sound Guide to Cleaning Your Home. Sales of natural household products have surged in the past few years and this book is about putting them to good use. It explains what green cleaning is, why it’s important and how to make it work in your home. The authors take you through your house, room by room, and give you ideas for safer ways to clean and they list green ideas and recipes. And check this: the book itself is waterproof and stain-resistant so you can store it with all of your cleaning products and won’t get damaged. Brilliant! Via ::Amazon

the book is stain resistant and waterproof? any word on what it's made out of?

i feel a bit silly being skeptical of this book's materials, but i suppose it's better to second-guess someone who's trying to do good than to just automatically approve of someone with good-but-misguided intentions.

Click on Durabooks. I own Cradle to Cradle which seems to be the same type of book. Very nice.
