by Justin Thomas, Virginia
on 08. 5.05
This magazine rack by Offi is molded plywood with a birch veneer, and was created by designer Eric Pfeiffe. Some people are a little wary of bent plywood because they see it Target these days, but I can't get enough of its minimalist formations. The technique of bending plywood minimizes cut-away wood and energy used in manufacturing. You can read more about Offi's other pieces here. The magazine stand is available from Amazon for $90.
