This polished metal item glows with a reasonable degree of sustainability. It’s a new curvaceous floor lamp from Adesso, partially made with post-consumer recycled steel. The weighted, satin steel base gives support to the lamp. It houses four (20 watt) halogen bulbs, which are not compact fluorescents, but more efficient than incandescent bulbs.
