Vaho is Trashion

Wow! The fashion for trashion is really taking off! You may have read our previous posts on Treehugger about Modulab bags in Chile, Vy & Elle bags in the States and Demano bags in Barcelona, which are all made from recycled advertising banners. Well we now would like to present Vaho to you who have been active eco-designers for almost 5 years, constantly saving un-recyclable materials from being burned or buried by turning this trash into fashion.
These two charming young men have based their workshop in the outskirts of Barcelona and just opened their first shop in the Born district. So there must be more than enough advertising banners to go round. Or are Vaho placing themselves in direct competition with Demano for the funkiest colours and craziest fonts hanging in our streets? Well a little rivalry is always healthy especially when it’s all about recycling!
Visit Vaho’s website www.vaho.ws or in person at the Vaho Gallery: C/ Cotoners 8, BCN.
