Tiffany Tomato: Some For You, Some By You

Design & Architecture (designers)

TH_tomatomain_062005.jpg Tiffany Threadgould loves her garbage. So much so, that she is now soliciting donations of the following: Empty mini liquor bottles, Altoid tins, stale cereal, mini cereal boxes, old Halloween candy, and Tropicana juice lids. Why does she want it? Her final designs for these items are a mystery, but here general goal is to re-imagine these mundane objects as useful around-the-house items like this screen made from over 1000 discarded film canisters...

Her site, TiffanyTomato.com has a portfolio of past designs, and store of current designs available for purchase. Even better, she has a section devoted to designs that you can make yourself -- everything from umbrella skirts to woven fruit baskets. :: Tiffany Tomato
