Natural Deodorant From A Natural Perspective

Natural_deo.jpg We know almost everyone has tried all-natural deodorant at some point and has had the same experience. If you gave up years ago, here’s a chance to give it another try. After four years of intensive research, FloralActive deodorants guarantee that you’ll get 12-hour protection and that it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin. The deodorant, which is available in six different scents (including unscented), is made from non-sticky all-natural ingredients and is free of harsh preservatives and fragrances. At $4.83, we’d say it’s worth slapping some on and trying the all-natural route once again. If you do, let us know what you think. ::A Natural Perspective

I've been using Tom's unscented deodorant for years. No complaints. What's the problem?

I'll chime in about the "deodorant rock" (actually a mineral salt). I've been using it for about 10 years now, and as long as you don't mind sweating a bit (anti-perspirants being "unhealthy" on my list), it does exactly as advertised -- prevent the bacteria/etc. that cause the smell.

I use Tom's and Kiss My Face, and they work fine unless I'm very active, then I may need to reapply.

I think it's mostly finding what works for you and deciding you don't have to smell like a chemical factory to be "clean".

Actually, Tom's of Maine contains contains Propylene Glycol.

Propylene Glycol is a cosmetic form of mineral oil found in automatic brake and hydraulic fluid and industrial antifreeze.

When used in the skin and hair care products, propylene glycol works as a humescent, which causes retention of moisture content of skin or cosmetic products by preventing the escape of moisture or water.

With respect to FloralActive Deodorants, these are 100% natural. Its patent-pending formula does "not" contain, No propylene glycol, No parabens, No aluminum, No talc, No synthetic antibacterial agents, No synthetic fragrances or masking chemicals, No alcohol, No ethoxylated ingredients such as steareth 100 and polysorbate 20

And,does promise 12-hour odor protection!

Note: Apply generously. If you do not receive 12 hour protection under normal conditions, we will refund your money on the product*. Reapplication may be necessary after physical exercise.

HI

Questions for you all.
I've tried the crystal/rock thing, I've used almost every "natural" deodorant on the market over the last many years, including Tom's.
I've never tried the one you mention here.
But during the past few years my skin has become so sensitive that ALL of them burn me and give me a rash.

Any ideas?

thanks

cheryl
