Effective Electronic Recycling: Green Citizen

Green Citizen is a company in Palo Alto, California that specializes in recycling electronics — really thoroughly. They aim to be a one-stop shop for convenient, accountable and responsible electronics recycling. Ricky, a Treehugger reader, was impressed by their services, he describes them here:
I had several items to recycle: a CRT monitor, CDs, cell phones, an old Apple unit, and decided to swing on by the Palo Alto center. I presented my items, paid a small fee (which they say covers the transportation and processing of my electronics), spoke briefly to the staff (awesome service...everyone was friendly and knowledgeable) and went on my way. I know others take out the good materials (i.e. gold, plastics, etc) and scrap everything else, but Green Citizen emphasized how 100% of everything they take it is recycled.
