Saving the Planet With Pesticides & Plastic

The Center for Global Food Issues is not a parody web site. Yet they are selling a book entitled Saving the Planet With Pesticides & Plastic. Quite audacious of them. Apparently the book is real, and it can be yours for $23.95. I'd actually like to peruse this book, but I don't think my local library has a copy. The site has many similar news stories. The Center for Global Food Issues is an agribusiness-funded organization run by the Hudson Institute.
I found the site while researching a post on the use of the growth hormone rBST in dairy cows. One more thing, I thought the Center's catch phrase about the rBST issue is curious too: "Milk is milk". There you have it: milk is milk after all, no need to pry further.
