Organic Lawn Care

We’ve brought you some lawn and yard care tips and products to use over the past few months to keep your lawn looking healthy but in an environmentally safe way. But Leah P. sent us a tip that doesn’t have to do with products, but rather a thorough system describing an easy way to take care of your lawn without using a ton of chemicals on it. It encourages water conservation, less mowing and even what kind of grass to plant. It’s a great site that answers questions like how to get rid of weeds, deal with burn spots from the pooch and how to improve your soil. ‘Tis the season! Via ::Rich Soil [by KD]

Much appreciated indeed!
Just make sure to use a non-electric push reel mower. One gas guzzling mower emits in one hour about the same pollution as 35 cars!
