NorSing Bamboo Dinnerware

by TreeHugger on 05.13.05

deket_02.jpgNorSing is a Norwegian company which produces dinnerware (and flowerpots) out of bamboo. It is a quasi-disposable kind of dinnerware, unlike the selections from Bambu, which are the more permanent and elegant kind. Apparently bamboo is suitable for both hot and cold storage, since it can withstand -4° to 338° F. Norsing's dinnerware is also microwavable and can be washed in the dishwasher several times before it degrades. NorSing are currently looking for resellers in the U.S. :: NorSing [by Justin Thomas]

That's very cool. I do want to note that the only Bambu products I've been able to find in stores are their 'disposable' line of plates.
