After our recent post about CellForCash.com, and the possibility of cashing in on your old phone, rather than tossing it, we received some great feedback on other options. An anonymous treehugger wrote:
"Before trying to make money off of your cell phone, consider donating first. It may save a life."
They gave us the URL for Call to Protect, a nonprofit campaign which collects wireless phones to give to victims of domestic violence. This way, endangered children, or spouses can have a lifeline to call in case of continued violence. This sounds like a really great cause, and definitely worth your attention.
