bobhunter.jpg Canadian Bob Hunter, who co-founded Greenpeace and also had a fantastic career in journalism, died on Monday after a battle with prostate cancer. Hunter made a name for himself in the Canadian media back in the 60’s before Greenpeace was launched in 1971. He brought public attention to many issues and helped establish the in-your-face communication that Greenpeace became known for. Greenpeace is now present in 40 countries and has more than 2.5 million members worldwide. Thanks for letting us know James C. Via ::MSNBC [by KD]
