Timberbowl.jpgDesign aficinados are pretty taken with the ideas that spring from the minds of Dutch designers. Some of the Goods products range grace the halogen lit halls of the Design Museum of Iceland and New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Today we are exhibiting ‘Timber” and ‘Paperbags’. The first, a bowl fashioned, by designer Rik Davids, from weathered wooden planking salvaged from shipyards. Fellow Dutchman, Jos van der Meulen, has taken unused billboard posters and reinvented them as newspaper storage bags, in four sizes. (shown below) ::Goods [by WM]
