Forget the Yuppy, It's Time For Guppys

TH_guppy_050105.jpg We don't mean to throw you all for a loop, but apparently, just when you got used to the esteemed title of "treehugger", they're going to change our label again. According to a recent article in the Christian Science Monitor, we're called "GUPYs": Green Urban Professionals who are Young. Somebody really should call the acronym police on this lot. But goofy names aside, the article is interesting, and encouraging for those interested in living more compact, energy efficient, and environmentally benign lives. Totally worth a read.

It's always nice to see a good, positive article about people who care about the planet. I'm also glad that ethical investments are promoted at the end of this article -- a very important force in changing the marketplace.
