First Penthouse puts high end prefab penthouses on rooftops in London. Nothing in London is cheap, and these prefabs are not either- in fact, they are bloody expensive- $ 3,000,000 for 2,000 square feet. Courtesy for Business 2.0 we see what the problem has always been with putting things like Loftcubes on roofs- fully half of the budget is taken up by purchasing air rights, contractor fees for installation and other charges. $1500 per square foot for a penthouse isn't all that expensive in London. This is a neat idea.
I have tried contacting First Penthouse. Email is kicked back as undeliverable and the phone line is always busy. If anyone knows how to contact them (I'm in New York), please advise. Thanks.
