First Penthouse puts high end prefab penthouses on rooftops in London. Nothing in London is cheap, and these prefabs are not either- in fact, they are bloody expensive- $ 3,000,000 for 2,000 square feet. Courtesy for Business 2.0 we see what the problem has always been with putting things like Loftcubes on roofs- fully half of the budget is taken up by purchasing air rights, contractor fees for installation and other charges. Treehugger likes pretty things, but $ 1,500 per square foot? ::First Penthouse by [LA]
