We do go on about the fact that prefab homes can be more energy and material efficient, and have considerably less impact on the environment. However, the current craze is design-driven. Where normally the talents of a top name architect would be unavailable for a smaller residence at affordable prices, through prefab and mass production the work of someone like Frank Gehry can be. In Germany, architects like Gehry, Gustav Peichl and Matteo Thun are all trying theirr hand at prefab and the results are stunning. read ::Deutche Welle by [LA]
