Its a material world, and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum is covering it with its new exhibition, Extreme Textiles. "They are the result of an extraordinary collaboration between (sic) science, industry and design". Categories are Olympian- stronger, faster, lighter, smarter and safer. We particularly liked Leaping Lines, a woven electrical circuit overprinted with electronic ink. Show runs until October 30.::Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum by [LA]
