A Refreshing Alternative – Wool Skivvy’s

underwear.jpg Ever notice that your synthetic long johns have a most horrific odor after some serious skiing, climbing or whatever outdoor sport it is that you can’t get enough of? Show of hands please. We thought so. Many advertise that they breathe easily and provide comfort, however, seems like we’re not the only ones who noticed this isn’t quite the case. Ibex and Smartwool have caught on, and are now selling men’s and women’s underwear, in addition to tops, bottoms and socks. Wool not only breathes better than the synthetics, but it doesn’t have an odor either and is still quite comfortable too. Smartwool can be found at Seattle Traders and Campmor and check out the Ibex site too. Thanks for the “smart” tip Andrew P.! Via ::Kevin Kelly [by KD]

My pleasure!

On the baby front, we get our cloth diapers from http://extraordinarybabyshoppe.com/, here in Ottawa. I mention it here because they have a selection of wool wraps:
