Textra Glass Wallcovering

Design & Architecture (wallcoverings)

johns_mansville_textra.jpgWe told you yesterday we’d give you some more wallpaper tips. If you’re looking for a really durable wallcovering, one option is vinyl wallpaper with a fakey geometric texture with nasty VOCs lurking inside. Or, you can go with a wallpaper made from natural fibers of glass, with minimal off-gassing. Textra is made from readily available sand, it’s available in several different textures, and it can be painted (we’d use recycled or plant-based paints, of course) whatever shade suits your fancy. When you fancy shifts, repaint. Available from Sherwin-Williams. Via edcmag ::Johns Manville [by KK]
