Muji Infill House

First we’ve got Ikea offering a prefab house, and now Muji (which we once called a Japanese Ikea). The folks at WorldChanging wonder what happens when industrial designers turn their drawing boards to residential architecture. The cynic in us thinks the industrial designers get a ready-made sales platform (if your house is designed to fit Muji shelves perfectly, why would you shop elsewhere?), but the optimist says that offering modern (preferably sustainable) prefab at widespread retail outlets adds welcome choice to the affordable housing market.
