Having signed on to Kyoto, The Canadian Government has started all kinds of programs to get everyone to reduce greenhouse gases. They produced commercials with Canadian comedian Rick Mercer (view here) and provide a handy online calculator where you enter all kinds of data about yourself that you would be afraid to tell your government if it was not such a nanny state like Canada.(although you can use it without registering) If you are in blue or northern red states it should work- pick the province closest to you (here is a map) , fire up the super-kids metric converter and take the One Tonne Challenge!
