Spice Photography Exhibition and Auction for the Architecture for Humanity/WorldChanging.com Tsunami Reconstruction Appeal

Take Action (events)

spice_photography_exhibition.JPGCameron Sinclair, founder of Architecture for Humanity, is a name that pops up quite a bit round these parts. Now his non-profit, which seeks to provide relief from crises such as the recent tsunami disaster through architecture and design, has teamed up with one of our favorite websites, WorldChanging.com, to raise tsunami reconstruction funds by exhibiting and auctioning the work of well-known photographers and artists from Martin Parr to Francis Ford Coppola. The exhibitors’ identities will be kept secret until the show moves from New York’s ABC No Rio to the Carriage House Center on February 9 for the final auction. The images submitted, as suggested by the exhibition’s title, reflect the diversity and vitality of South East Asia and other parts of the world. Go take a look now at ABC No Rio on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays; for times see ::Architecture for Humanity [by KK]
