Where/how can I properly dispose of batteries? Not car batteries, rather household use batteries (i.e., AA and AAAs, watch and camera batteries, rechargeable lithium ion batteries, etc.).
gmb - new alkaline batteries are safe to dispose of in the trash. In the past, they contained mercury, but this is no longer the case.
