COOL BUT UGLY: ECO-Nomad Combined Mechanical Utility Container

by TreeHugger on 02. 3.05
Science & Technology (solar)

economad.JPGReuses a shipping container—cool. Portable—great. Provides utilities to off-grid housing—fabulous. The ECO-Nomad offers water, heat, and electricity, plus has a biological water treatment facility built in (we figure it probably sings and dances, too). It can stand alone or be built right into a house. We love the idea of hitching your utilities to a trailer and taking them with you, but where was the designer? We’d be much more inclined to shell out for one of these if they looked a bit more purty. Via fabprefab ::ECO-Nomad [by KK]
