Stramondo Organic Marzipan from Sicily. Aaaaah! Seriously, this may be the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. Now, let me be clear, it is not its Organic-ness that makes me freakin’ weep. Organic, in itself, doesn’t impart any extra special flavor. (Right? Think lays Organic Tostitos).
This marzipan contains four simple ingredients. The first two are almonds: Sicilian Palma Girgenti almonds, Mandorla Cuore almonds. Then raw cane sugar and vanilla.
What you taste is quality. What you taste is care. What you taste is tradition. Whatever you taste, you gotta taste this.
