We've been having spam 'issues' with our Comments, so you might’ve missed a reader’s reference to a recent story. He was pointing out the environmental benefits offered by Ecoprint. They run an operation using 100% wind energy, via a Green Power scheme, making it greenhouse emission free. They’ve developed their own eco-inks, which are very low in VOC offgassing and some are free of heavy metals. In addition to the usual high recycled content papers, they have experience with tree-free stocks, like kenaf and hemp. And non-polluting citric acids for cleaning their presses. Another reader has also noted Anderson Lithograph. Click on that link just past to learn about their very solid efforts in print sustainability. [by WM]
