BetterWorld roadside service for bicycles

Here’s a good one. North America’s first and only call-out service for push-bikes. Just like roadside assistance for automobile drives but thoughtfully provided for cyclists, who have broken down, far from home. For a standard individual membership you get picked up and taken home or to the nearest bike repair shop, if within 30 miles (48km) of the pickup. Housemates can be added to the program for just $15. $39.95 USD annually. (You don’t need to be signed up to Better World’s car roadside service either. But if you had a gas guzzler, it might be worth considering. They provide discounts on ecotravel and have a carbon offset program for air travel. ::Better World [by WM]
