Guadalajara's New Soccer Stadium

stadium.jpgInterior Design magazine recently ran a q&a with Studio Massaud, which is in the process of designing an incredible new soccer stadium for Guadalajara, Mexico. Instead of the typical concrete, gray stadiums that most teams and cities must endure, Jean-Marie Massaud and partner Daniel Pouzet envisioned a structure that looks like volcano covered with grass and topped with a cloud that ingeniously cools the stadium using shade from the fabric that will be stretched over the top to create a roof. That green grass has benefits too, and is also where parking and other unsightly necessities will be cleverly hidden. ::Interior Design ::Studio Massaud [by MO]
