Book: Winning the Oil Endgame

New book Winning the Oil Endgame (Rocky Mountain Institute) shows how U.S. business and military leaders can eliminate oil use in a few decades, led by businesses making profits instead of drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Co-funded by the Pentagon, the book offers a coherent strategy for ending oil dependence, starting with the United States but applicable worldwide. Combining innovative technologies and new business models with uncommon public policies, the authors assert that a more laissez-faire government would help business owners make better decisions, a theme that found strong roots in Cradle To Cradle, which was published two years ago. $40 ::Rocky Mountain Institute [by MO]
