You can get a much more impressive performance electric car for a fraction of that price. AC propulsions Tzero 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. http://www.acpropulsion.com/

The experimental lithium battery version has a 300 mile range and can do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds

Mute point since battery and motor tech keeps improving exponentially every day. Connecticut is the place where the state of the art is quickly becoming cause celebre. Watch out for such buzz words as mPhase, aerogel, nanotech and buckyballs. It's already on the bench proof of concept that if we can find investors to have the brass to invest into the next gen, who will need hydrogen since it's so much easier to store electrons than chemicals! Actually, you can't get the Tzero. Read the website carefully; they have given up on it, and now plan to modify Scions.

so essentially what they are saying with their high price, Screw all you little poor people who continue to polute the planet, look as us super rich folk who can drive around in our zero emmisions vehicle, neener, neener neener!!! Good god, even the tesla is only $100K, less than 1/6 the cost of this stupid venturi, WTF? if they are going to sell the damn things at least make them less than the cost of a freaking mansion. Who of us ordinary joes is going to be able to afford the $4,500 per month 30 year payment for a car? Performance on the venturi is also one second slower than the tesla, highest performance vehicle, my ass......highest?, they definately been smoking something alright, and it aint the Tesla.
