Paula Hayes’s modern terrariums are attracting big-time art-world players, according to the NY Times style magazine T. (We hate to love it, but it's so damn slick). You already know how we love botanicals, so even if these itsy-bitsy little biospheres can't filter major amounts of toxins out of the air, maybe they can still provide an important lesson: If all teeny, tiny eco-systems cost $10k apiece, maybe everyone would value air, trees, and rocks just a little more. Yes, that's right. We said $10,000. ::Salon 94
