Rachel Sleight Paper Wedding Dress

Rachel Sleight designed this paper wedding dress for “Design Mart”, an exhibit recently held at the London Design Museum. Inspired by the beauty of origami, the dress is also environmentally sound—it packs flat for shipping and can be recycled when all used up. Brilliant, since most wedding dresses—elaborate and expensive as they are--are a one-wear deal. It’s a bit farfetched, but we like the concept. ::Metropolis
