When version 1.0 of Herman Miller’s Mirra chair hit the market in Spring 2003, the task chair became an instant classic. Maybe that because it’s designers, Studio 7.5, are committed to an Eamesian design philosophy. Aside from being ergonomically correct, Mirra is a C2C dream. It's made of a minimal number of parts, is easily disassembled and is 96% recyclable. Updated in an upholstered version this summer, the textiles used are 100% recyclable. $699 ::DWR
