Metro Paint

EBS.gifHow cool is this? The regional government of Portland, Ore. is responsible for the area’s waste disposal. As part of their goal to recycle as much as possible, these west-coast brainiacs built a top-notch paint-recycling facility. Collected paint is inspected, sorted and blended into high-quality new paint appropriate for interior and exterior use. Available in 5-gallon containers in a limited range of colors. And get this: It’s wicked cheap--only $30/5 gallon pail. Unfortunately, they only sell locally. But if you live in Oregon, get on it! $30 ::Environmental Building Supplies

Two of my neighbors used this paint. One did his exterior and the other did her kitchen. Both turned out fabulous! If you're not terribly picky about your color, this is the way to go! They have a great selection of neutral colors as well as a shades of red, pink, yellow and blue.

We've decided to repaint our entire house this summer using this paint. You can't beat the price and it's recycled!
