Hey

Monthly would be fab, it would mainly replace my visits, but I'd clickthrough if items were of interest. Ta, JC.

jump to top James says:

Maybe once a week. I didn't want to put you in my favourites because I have lots of those sites and did not want to lose you amongst other sites. I am interested in alternative energy sources, recycled common goods and how to's on accomplishments. Thanks.

jump to top Darlene says:

Bi-Weekly or monthly would be great. It would supplement my visits to the site. I am most interested in new products and technologies that help reduce consumption as well as alternative sources of energy. Thanks!

jump to top Mike says:

once a week would be good...unless something really urgent comes up.

jump to top Deane says:

if you have something to share daily, that would be lovely. always something out there worth reading about...and daily would make the load not so heavy..?

keep on, keepin on ;)

jump to top belle says:

Every 2 weeks would be super!

jump to top Kat says:

Monthly or weekly - with links to the site - would be good. Then if there's something of particular interest people could access the site to read more about particular features rather than having to scroll through a long newsletter

jump to top Cat says:

put me on the mailing list thanks ed

jump to top Ed says:

once a week would be very nice. thank-you.

jump to top Angie says:

Maybe bi-weekly or monthly. Would like to see new design or products related to being green. Love your current categories!

jump to top Winnie says:

1. weekly.
2. review of best-practices/products/blogs.
3. this would replace my visit.
4. how about a rough "scientific" evaluation of certain new products. "green" is difficult to define unless you specify product efficiency as far as: natural resources used, emissions, waste created/avoided, and overall life cycle assessment. this is usually time consuming and expensive, but otherwise its dificult to differentiate between mere fashion and responsible, yet cool, consumption. i would speculate that with the web-user base you've created, several eco-engineering firms would donate expertise and do the LCA work as long as they are recognized on the web.

jump to top Mateo says:

i'd like to see original ideas and techniques to recycle and reuse, specially if it also is done artistically and with comfort and practically in mind. some pieces look cool and some look ordinary. some look very uncomfortable or impractical. i like the whimsical, the organic-shaped (not geometric) and the oddball, and info how to do it yourself (for those who live far from the the manufacturers' distribution areas). thanx for this "peak industry site" that shows lots of pix.

jump to top ginger says:

Once a week should be sufficient, unless there is an emergency meeting, rally, or the like.

jump to top razzberry says:

1) weekly would be great.
2) Absolutely ANYTHING that would educate me to be better consumer, producer, etc. who is more in line with caring for and sustaining our environment in all aspects. Would love if it would have links to click to your site which would have either the "full story" or more info. One really great newsletter to look at for possible layouts is through www.organicconsumers.org
3) Supplement
4) I'm new to the site, and therefore still have alot of exploring to do to decide what "additions" would be good. But I really do look forward to a newsletter from you all!

jump to top Amanda says:

First time viewer and like what I see.
Will be able to find stuff for that Hawaiian
condo we'll be into shortly.
Like the less is more concepts and the new technology from recycled products.
Way to go.
Thanks.

jump to top Rosalie says:

I feel that one a week will be sufficient. Thank you.

India

send me all the green ideas you have I love to learn more about it

jump to top Alicia Silva says:

I find that if I get newsletters too often (like once a week or more) I can;t keep up and then get frustrated with all the mail-- I think once every two weeks is a great pace--

thanks

jump to top alison says:

I think once a month is sufficient. I would suggest putting a URL and a couple of sentences.

jump to top R. Singh says:

I'd prefer monthly, with links to items for further info. Maybe occasional short alerts of timely info that comes up between issues--e.g.., meetings and legislative actions that will happen before the next issue that didn't make it into the last issue.

jump to top Dee says:

1- Once a week would be great
2- If you are sending it out once a week perhaps a new topic from each category
3 - This would supplement my visits so I know exactly when new content was added -
4- No add comments - you are doing a great job - Thanks

jump to top galen says:

-how many times per week or month would you like it? hmmm, once a month.
2-what kind of content would you like to see? three top stories with links?
3-would this supplement or replace your visits to treehugger? nah, I search for different topics when I need to.
4-any other suggestions? not yet, it's a great site!

jump to top bj hedahl says:

Once a month would be fine. It would remind me of the site

jump to top Amy BOJANOWSKI says:

1. Weekly would be great:)
2. I would like to see whatever you've got that's interesting. I'm mostly into environmentalism issues and politics. New ideas for products which would benefit the environment would be awesome :).
3. Nope this won't replace my visit. Just alittle something extra :).
4. Hmmm. Yes. Who would I contact if I wanted to see about adding my own columns or articles to Treehugger?

jump to top Sebrina says:

I think once a month would be good and it would definitely replace my visits to the site, but i would be more than willing to click-thru if something were of interest to me. I would like information that would ease the transition to sustainable living. The latest and greatest is great information, but on a larger scale, it would be more beneficial (to me) that you provide me with alternatives that are not only eco-friendly, but cost-friendly as well.

jump to top Kiera Outlaw says:

Weekly or monthly would be ideal. It would remind me you exist and have good ideas, but would not overwhelm. Thanks!

jump to top Vanessa Stewart says:

Once a week fine!

jump to top Edwin Moore says:

twice a week would be just perfect

jump to top sameer says:

I would like to hear about things monthly.

Larry Dykun

jump to top Larry Dykun says:

Weekly emails for a summary will be good.

I am a practising architect in Asia and keen to explore technology for ecology and if they are also applicable in Asia context(in terms of climate, economy etc will be great. I shall try to apply in our projects

Also, there should be a forum for discussion about Green issues and exchange ideas and concepts

Keen to hear from you soon.

You will have my FULL support

MONTHLY PLEASE,

jump to top MO says:

Once a month with special products, good articles. I still go to website for searching new product.

jump to top Bee says:

I would like to receive a newsletter 3 to 5 times per week, if possible. I am interested in various subjects; eclectic best describes my interests and tastes. Any information on living green and saving money at the same time is most welcome. Thank you.

jump to top Michele says:

Monthly is fine and no, it wouldn't stop me visiting the site. In fact I probably would visit it more.

I would like to see relevant news and features; ideas on how we can be more proactive in recycling, reusing etc.; relevant product reviews; campaign news; profiles on ethical people/companies; opinions from your readers etc. The articles don't have to be that long. They can be newsy and informative with weblinks where appropriate.

jump to top Melissa Ruel says:

1-fortnightly.
2-content on categories of my choosing
3-supplement (of course!)
4-the ability for treehuggers to select their individual area(s) of interest for the mailing list would be useful, because then if (heaven forbid!) they/I were to not visit the site for a week or two there would be a reminder about some new thing that is of interest and relevance.

jump to top Scott says:

Monthly or biweekly would be great. It would supplement my visits to the site and, hopefully, would keep me from missing anything I really want to see.

jump to top jct says:

Once a week, top 10 headlines, replace except when needing to do research, great site!

jump to top Dayna says:

I am an interior design educator at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I teach Human Factors. Included in that course is an introduction to sustainable design and I am looking forward to your newsletters as a great "web search" source for my students and just to keep myself updated!

1. I think a once a week email would be fine.
2. Info regarding sustainabile interior products and practices would be most helpful.
3. I think you could just send a snapshot of the articles availabale, which would then send me scurrying to the site.
4. HURRY - get the e-presses rolling!

jump to top Jordene Gates says:

1 twice a moth would be fine
2 My specialism is textiles, fashion, interiors and design, particularly materials, farming, and aesthetics
