Transformer Furniture: The Caramella Counter Sofa

Many of the transformer designs we show have lots of moving parts, but this "counter sofa" is interesting because it doesn't actually transform; it just cleverly integrates three functions into one piece of furniture.

In some ways it is odd to have the sofa and the seating face the same direction, although it would be great for home theatre setups.

It appears to be only available in Japan, for 325,500 yen ( US$ 3250) at Piano Isola. Nice idea, found on Chris Lee's Pin board.
