Peter Danko's Gotham Rocking Chair

Peter Danko of Danko Persing designed the Gotham Rocker, which is made with a bent plywood frame and seat webbing from recycled automotive seat belts that won't stretch out. Using ply-bending furniture techniques yields up to 8-10 times more usable wood from a log than solid lumber. It's an extremely efficient technique, requiring far fewer resources than conventional wood furniture production. $820 ::Vivavi [by MO]
