Pet Lounge by Paul Makovsky for Turnstone

Made from just two pieces of flat, half-inch-thick PET, Brian Kane's Pet Lounge chair use fairly inexpensive tooling and molded materials to create sleek seating that's made from 10% recycled plastic bottles and is 100% recyclable. Manufactured by Turnstone, the stacking chair is made by compressing two sheets of PET (the equivalent of 13 16-ounce recycled plastic bottles are already incorporated into it) onto a steel frame. At the end of the chair’s useful life, the PET can easily be removed from the frame and fully recycled. The company even has a program for recycling, reusing, and refurbishing the product. Cool.
