Boomerang Comes Back At You As A Chair, A Chaise, And More

You will never be bored with the Boomerang; Croatian designers Bernarda and Davor Silov of Atmosfera have taken a single element, the boomerang, which can be assembled into a whole range of furnishings.

The idea was to design one universal shape made of natural materials with which we can form various objects of everyday life. An element that unites in itself static, ergonomic and aesthetic values, can by way of multiplications and recombinations, provide us with good quality usable items.

It is rather clever; depending on how you put it together, the boomerang element can be an armchair, chair, chaise, table, bench, partition, hanger, shelves and more. It also packs together tightly for efficient shipping. It is easy to replace a single element if damaged.

It's not exactly transformer furniture, in that it would take some time to reassemble, but it is ultimately very flexible and can adapt to changing needs. Interesting idea from Atmosfera.
