Bloom Chair Made From Identical Folded Plates

Designboom shows Korean designer Rerang Park's Bloom Chair, constructed of identical folded steel plates. They lean together and support each other, much like an arch. It almost looks like it could be made to fold flat and then unfurl like a flower.

"in this formation the plates lean up against one another, maintaining a strong structure, in which they simultaneously function as the legs, seat, back and armrests of the chair. "

It doesn't look very comfortable, though. Lots more pictures at Designboom
